Sergey Danilov has been General Director of IBR™ since 1991. Sergey Danilov has more than 25 years of experience in nuclear engineering, technical and economic studies and analysis in the field of nuclear technologies. From 1989 to 1991, S. Danilov was General Director of Minatom’s daughter company “International Scientific and Engineering Service”. From 1984 to 1989, he was a researcher at the Atomic Energy Institute named after I.V. Kurchatov where he participated in developing nuclear reactors for space missions. He earned a PhD in nuclear engineering for thesis “Method for solution of nonlinear boundary tasks for elliptical equations as applied to computing characteristics of space nuclear power reactor”. Mr. Danilov earned his engineer diploma at the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPhI). Vladimir Kuznetsov is the Head of Nuclear Reactors Technologies Projects at IBR™. V. Kuznetsov has over 30 years of experience in nuclear engineering and nuclear industry in general. Vladimir Kuznetsov joined IBR in 2001. From 2003 to 2010 he was employed at the International Atomic Energy Agency headquarters in Andrey Ovcharov is the Head of Nuclear Fuel Cycle Projects at IBR™. He joined IBR™ in 2005. From 2002 to 2005 he was a postgraduate student at the D. Mendeleyev University of Chemical Technology of Russia (MUCTR). In 2005 he received PhD in chemical engineering from the MUCTR. Mr. Ovcharov graduated magna cum laude in nuclear chemical engineering from the MUCTR in 2002. In 2005 he received PhD in nuclear engineering from the MUCTR for his work in isotope separation technology. Sergey Malov joined IBR™ in 2004 and now he is the Head of High Technologies Projects at IBR™. From 2002 to 2004, he was a researcher at the Nonorganic Materials Institute named after A.A. Bochvar where he participated in improving characteristics of uranium oxide fuel and received PhD in materials science. Mr. Malov graduated from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPhI) in 2002. |
